Jessica Niemeyer
Jessica Niemeyer has been studying law at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main since the winter semester of 2025/26 and is currently in her second semester. She completed her Abitur in Wiesbaden in 2025 with a final grade of 1.1. Since 2025, Jessica has been supported by the Deutschlandstipendium as well as the e-fellows.net scholarship.
Her civic engagement began already during her school years, when she served as student body president and co-opted board member of the Wiesbaden City Student Council (Stadtschüler*innenrat), as well as a board member of a non-profit association. To this day, she also volunteers for UNICEF and serves as an electoral board member for the City of Wiesbaden.
In addition to German, she speaks Chinese as her native language and is fluent in English. She also has French language skills at B2 level, certified by the DELF diploma from the Institut français d'Allemagne. In her free time, Jessica enjoys taking long walks with her dog, playing the piano, and ballroom dancing.
Jessica will now take part in the 34th Willem C. Vis Moot Court to sharpen her critical thinking and further develop her rhetorical skills and legal English. She is especially looking forward to finally applying the law in practice and meeting interesting new people along the way. This is intended to be the first step toward the international legal career she aspires to — and it is precisely this challenge that excites her most about the competition.
