Stella Serafina John

Stella has been studying law at Goethe University Frankfurt since the winter semester of 2024/25. She holds a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and e-fellows. Her interests range widely: she spent nearly a year as a research assistant at the Center for Critical Computational Studies working on artificial intelligence and law, followed by first practical experience in Real Estate and M&A, and since June 2026 she has been a research assistant in international tax law and real estate tax law. This autumn she adds an internship in banking and finance to her rooster, and from October a position at a chair for public and financial market law.

After the Vis Moot she will head to the Deutsche Bundesbank for banking supervision and central bank law, followed by a semester abroad in Japan. In her free time, Stella rides motorcycle and horses, and enjoys playing chess over a good glass of wine. She likes to figure out hard legal problems and thrives at intercultural exchange, exactly what the vis moot asks for.
